What’s trending in home design for 2019? Houzz just published their top 32 pics! My favorites are more highly organized laundry and kitchen areas for smaller spaces (no need to expand), more relaxed kitchen seating (love dining nooks that create a casual living room feel), upper cabinets that extend down onto the actual countertops (with the larger islands we are seeing more prepping is being done there), statement walls in the kitchen (under cabinets and islands are becoming more space efficient allowing for upper cabinets to completely disappear.. and allowing for the statement wall instead) such as a wall of windows or tile accents.
