Final deck reveal! My house is always a work in progress so I’ll try to share as much of my projects and lessons learned as possible. I am really happy with the Timbertech Azek decking material! It does not get hot in the sun all day like some other materials do and is highly scratch resistant as well. Since we have a big family, we asked for an extra bump-out area on the deck that could accommodate our big parties and added extra room toward one end for a casual seating area. So happy we decided on that, bigger is better for us since our immediate family is almost 40 people. One thing to beware of though with this material, do not use goof-off or mineral spirits to remove paint, it will cause discoloration! Learned the hard way on that. Otherwise, very happy so far!
